Trial Package Restrictions

Trial versions of CobolTransformer tools have the following restrictions:

• Every parsed Cobol file cannot be more than 2048 lines long.
• Total lines of code (LOC) count cannot exceed 1024.
• Every node in a Program Tree cannot have more than 512 children. This means that you cannot have more than 512 distinct names in a Cobol program.

These restrictions let you experience the full functionality of our CobolTransformer products on sample Cobol programs of limited size.

When you license a CobolTransformer tool, you will receive a different set of executables that do not have these restrictions.

Trial package has suffix -trial or -demo in the name of the distribution file.
